The Artist
That's me (Norm Lanier) way back in 1965. I've always been a creator. I was always drawing, coloring, etc. In high school, I discovered my dad's old 35mm camera, and I was hooked. I got my degree in photography and started my creative career. I then moved my creativity to this new thing called a Macintosh computer. Others recognized my passion for creating and I worked my way up to become a Senior Graphic Designer for companies like Exxon, Compaq, and HP.

As great as these companies were to work at I wasn't creating for me. With the support of my wife, I walked away from the corporate life on my 50th birthday to work for myself and I've never looked back. Today I have a singular vision of bringing beautiful art into people's homes. Join me on the journey. Your home deserves beautiful art.

I weave ideas together into cohesive artworks using my computer art skills that go back to the 80's. However, the true magic lies in how these elements are transformed. With a touch of digital alchemy, I use advanced computer technology to blend my ideas with my artistic vision, creating scenes that are both nostalgic and fantastical.
 

The characters, animals, and landscapes in my work are figments of my imagination, brought to life in a way that transcends the boundaries of traditional art forms. They are not mere paintings or photographs but dreams materialized in pixels and then on paper.

Having been a photographer and graphic designer for over 40 years, I'm continuously exploring new ways to create, infusing my work with a sense of humor and discovery.

My work is a celebration of life's vibrant tapestry, where fictional imagery created with human and artificial intelligence evoking emotions and connections. Like a director of characters in a beloved novel or film, these creations are meant to move you, offering a glimpse into a world where imagination reigns supreme.
