Cars Land Radiator Springs Racers Ornament Valley
HDR shot run through Photomatix with 5 exposures. This was my first visit to California Adventure and my first trip to Disneyland for the sole purpose of photographing in the parks.3 days still wasn't enough.
I'm jealous of those that can drive over any time with an annual pass and constantly try new ideas. Living just outside of Houston, TX it's a big deal for me to get to any Disney Park.
BTW all my photos are done on an Olympus E-PL3 4/3 system. Yeah my brother's new Nikon D8000e is amazing but being able to get all my gear in a bag the size of a large lunchbox has it's advantages 🙂

OK Photo, Great Story...
So I'm standing around in Cars Land trying to take a photo of the Stanley Statue and Fountain and people keep coming up and standing around.
You know what I''m talking about, mentally you are screaming "MOVE ALREADY" but you politely stand there with your camera on a tripod while they check their text messages.
Any way, so I'm standing there and I get a break in the crowd ready to pop off several exposures and this guy walks up with two kids, one walking and one in a stroller. The one kid walking tries to see the fountain and his dad picks him up and the kid leans forward and starts drinking from the fountain. Again I'm mentally screaming "Hey that's recirculated water and not meant for human consumption".
But what happened next shocked me even more... the dad reaches down, takes the other kid out of his stroller and lets him get a drink too.
I should have taken a picture of this made for sitcom scene but was so surprised by the entire thing I forgot to.
If someone knows that this is actually a drinking fountain then I'm the bonehead.
